The Executive Office of the Chief of Police is responsible for the administration of the Department.

Hours of operation: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location: The Executive Office is located next to the Dental School Cafeteria on the Main Campus.

The Chief Executive Officer  of the Police Department is the Chief of Police and Director of Public Safety (Captain Ron Davidson - Acting Chief | 210.567.2791).  As such he is an administrative officer of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The Chief of Police reports to the Executive Vice President for Facility Planning and Operations and is responsible for all police operations.

Administration: This component provides direct administrative support to the Chief of Police in his duty as Chief Executive Officer of the Department. The Office Manager (Noemi Ortiguerra | 210.567.2789)provides supervision and administrative support to the Chief of Police in the operation of the University Police Department.  Personnel assigned to the Officer Manager are (1) Records Management (Yolanda Medellin | 210.567.2798) and (2) Time & Leave (Diana Quintanilla | 210.567.1070).

Assistant to the Chief of Police: (Irma G. Hernandez | 210.567.1045) reports directly to the Chief of Police. She is responsible for professional administrative assistance as delegated by the Chief of Police and acts as liaison to the Chief of Police and all components of the Police Department.
