LOST & FOUND PROPERTY | UT Police Parking Services

The University Police is responsible for guardianship of all items received by the department as "found property", and for the timely identification, and notification of the legal owner for the purpose of returning the found item to its owner. The Lost & Found Custodian (Monica Bosmans | 210.567.2793), reports to the Traffic Office Manager.


GENERAL INFORMATION
  • All items found around the campus by individuals or departments are turned into the UT Police. If you've lost something you should contact the UT Police before running all over the campus. It may have been turned in already.

  • If you cannot personally claim your property, you can have someone pick it up for you with written persmission.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Question: I lost my briefcase.  Who do I call?
  • Answer: Call the Parking Service Office Mon-Fri 7:45am-5:15pm.  If it is urgent, call our main number 567-2800, someone is there 24/7.
  • Question: How long are lost items held?
  • Answer: All items are held for 90 days.
  • Question: I lost my glasses at CTRC.  Do I contact somebody there?
  • Answer: No, all “lost” items (no matter where they are found) are returned to this central location.
