UTPD’s Police Compliance Officer is responsible for providing background and sanctions checks on students, student applicants, resident students, visiting students, employees, prospective employees, temporary employees, visitors, vendors and contractors. Requests for new-hire, paid employees are free and must be submitted by the UT Health San Antonio Human Resources Department. A $15.00 fee applies to all other requests.

Can anyone obtain a copy of a security criminal records check for their own personal use?
No. It is a crime to issue copies of this type of record to any person not authorized to receive it, including the person who is the subject of the record. How long does it take to obtain results of a security criminal records check?
Once the information is submitted to and received by the police compliance officer, it can take up to 24 hours to obtain results.
Who can request a security criminal records check?
The Office of Human Resources, the Office of Business Affairs, and other departments throughout campus sponsoring students can request criminal records checks.
